We have a local family who is doing amazing things for rescue! The Barry Family has taken in and fostered 43 puppies in 2019. These are puppies that have been found abandoned, surrendered to the pound, or surrendered to us. They have been fostered by Camp Barry until they are old enough to be spayed or neutered and ready for adoption.
Rhonda, Gregg, Matt, and Kayla work very hard at Camp Barry in order to provide a safe, loving, nurturing environment for the puppies until they find a forever home. Camp Barry gives a lot of attention to puppy social skills, positive reinforcement, potty training, crate training, and so much more, all while treating them as part of the Barry family! Each pup is taught skills that can be taken with them when they find forever families. Featured is a photo of "Babs" (currently available for adoption), Fifi, and Elmyra (adopted). You will also see a photo collage of a few of Camp Barry's past fosters. Visit Camp Barry online to find info on all puppies ready for adoption! |
Camp Barry’s Jars for Paws Program is going strong as they continue to “Spread the Love” with homemade jams (some with a jalapeno or habanero kick), pickles, fruit, and apple butter prepared by Rhonda, Kayla, and Matt Barry with 30% of the proceeds donated to us. You can get these delicious products by reaching out on Facebook or look for Camp Barry at some of the community’s events. You will soon be able to order online at www.campbarry.org 😊
